I believe in partnering with patients and their families to provide cancer care that is medically sound and in line with each patient’s values. I also provide surgical expertise for those in need of complex pelvic surgery, whether related to a cancer diagnosis or not. I feel my job is not just to help treat a patient’s medical condition but to ensure they understand their disease process and treatment options. I work to utilize all tools available including surgery-via a minimally invasive approach whenever appropriate, chemotherapy, clinical trials, or referral to other specialists when necessary. I find it a great honor to be a part of patients’ lives during a challenging time, and I want to help patients feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their time under my care.
