About Brenda Shoo

About The Provider

I am a Johns Hopkins and Stanford trained physician and the current Medical Director of the MHeatlh Fairview Cancer Center Radiation Oncology Clinic in Maple Grove.  I am a board certified and fellowship trained radiation oncologist and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota.  I strive to provide each patient with high quality, evidence-based medical care in a caring environment. I commonly treat patients of all cancer types and have a particular interest in breast cancer, gynecologic cancer, lymphoma, skin cancer and cancers of the central nervous system.  I routinely participate in nationwide conferences, university and community-centered tumor boards and consults closely with my surgical and medical oncology colleagues.

The MHealth Fairview Radiation Oncology Clinic in Maple Grove has created a unique environment for healing by coupling the latest technologies with a highly personalized approach to care. Throughout the radiation treatment process, our team works diligently to make every step of the treatment process as seamless as possible. My collaborative approach allows the team to deliver the most comprehensive care for my patients and provides them with the best chance of eradicating cancer and relieving symptoms.  

As an extension of the University of Minnesota, the MHealth Fairview Radiation Oncology Clinic in Maple Grove ensures that it provides the best outcomes possible for its patients. The clinic participates in clinical trials and utilizes aggressive quality assurance. Patients are provided with the high level care they would expect from a major academic medical center, within the warm and friendly atmosphere of their community clinic. The clinic also participates in the University of Minnesota residency program in radiation oncology, training the next wave of physicians - furthering its commitment to quality teaching, research and expert patient-centered care.
