Bronwyn Jane Southwell, MD

I am an anesthesiologist and pain management physician in my clinical work, and I also contribute to the health system via work in quality improvement.  I spend my clinical time ensuring patients are safe and comfortable during the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative period.  As a pain management physician, I also see patients in the outpatient clinic setting and manage chronic pain conditions with medications and procedures.  My clinical and academic work are aimed at achieving the best outcomes possible for every patient by informing new guidelines and standards with data-driven, high-quality medical evidence.
