Dana Spensley

In my role as an inpatient palliative care social worker, I have the privilege of focusing on patient advocacy, interdisciplinary collaboration, adjustment to illness counseling, emotional and decisional support, anticipatory grief counseling and end-of-life care support. I approach each case with the understanding that while situations may be similar, every patient and family's experience is uniquely their own. My ability to assess and respond to these individual needs with empathy and expertise is at the core of my practice.
