Yes, I'd like to say everybody I met from the receptionist to Dr. Bailey to Dr. Berger at the hospital were fantastic. The day could not have turned out better. I was quick to be admitted to surgery and it was all done from the time I showed up at the office until they were out of surgery was literally about six hours. I'm home today and appreciate all your help.

Dr. Bailey was perfect. He was very informative, could tell he knew what he was talking about. He showed me x-rays or ultrasound things, gave me advice, but left it up to me. I felt perfectly safe with him and I have yet to make the decision, but I will shortly.

I was very happy with the whole experience, from how my wife was treated, to the knowledge and kindness that was shown to both of us, and the efficiency of the entire process. I didn't know what to expect fully but everything leading up to the surgery and the day itself went smoothly. I am grateful for everyone who assisted in any way.

I understood that nurses would go on break or be busy so I interacted with many different people. This became a problem when one person would offer something or tell me they would do something and then I wouldn't see them or a different person would come in an offer something else. The two examples are before surgery a nurse left me to change and go get my husband to come sit with me and then 45 minutes later someone else came in and said they would go get my husband. The second was after surgery someone gave me the option to bring my husband back to help me change and I said yes I'd like that. After a short while someone else came and took me to the bathroom and gave me my clothes to change in the bathroom by myself. I didn't stand up for myself and so I changed clothes in the bathroom by myself feeling vulnerable and unsteady thinking if I fall while changing clothes alone in this bathroom no one would know.

I recently transferred to Fairview after decades at Park Nicollet. I feel more cared-for here than I ever did there.

I’m sorry, although everything w/the surgery went well, follow-up, after any visit, using “My Chart” is the worst! From impersonal, to ineffective, there’s little anyone with a limited knowledge of the medical field and it’s acronyms, abbreviations, and terminology can do when attempting to ask a question using My Chart. The exception of course, I and others could start using AI to cut and paste questions that need to be asked from the information provided. Of course, answering those using AI would be unethical.

I would like everyone at the facility that cared for me today to be recognized. They were all excellent, caring, and very professional. They appeared to really love what they are doing and they did it well.

My overall experience was amazing. They listened to my concerns and made sure that I was ok to leave. They didn't rush my time of me being in the hospital which was a big thing for me. I truly appreciate all the nurses and doctors that helped me before, during, and after my surgery.
