It is my honor to witness patients in so many stages of their reproductive health care, from the first period well through menopause. Prenatal and birth care is such a special time to meet families, and I love partnering with pregnant people to help them navigate their unique journey. I am equally passionate about other areas of full scope practice, especially contraception, abnormal uterine bleeding, mental health, well person care, and perimenopause. I love the philosophical fusion that nurse-midwifery allows: a blend of ancient wisdom, common sense, complementary treatment options and medical interventions (if necessary). I came to midwifery via a media communications background which has allowed me to create and share tools about health education. I believe that information is power, and it is at the heart of every office visit and birth space interaction for me. I aim to provide a shared decision-making experience for every patient. I am fueled by the belief that healthcare is a human right, and I will continue to stand up for reproductive justice in our world.
