About The Provider
Blood which is made in the bone marrow courses through every organ of the body carrying oxygen, fights infections, and prevents us from bleeding or clotting too much. In non-malignant hematology we focus on the underlying science of blood and blood diseases through basic research and clinical trials. Therefore as a hematologist I care for the whole patient and the impact on every organ system by first carefully listening, examining, and appropriately testing in the laboratory to determine the cause of the blood disorder. I make my hypotheses based on this data and the best science to develop a diagnosis and plan to remediate the problems. This is done with the utmost compassion, caring and commitment to that individual as if they are a family member of mine. Repairing the blood can repair the whole patient and that is my goal.
