The surgeon, Dr. Berger, did an excellent job letting us know what his surgery was going to entail, what exactly they were doing, and how long he would be in there, and all of the details related to that. What I wasn't happy with was the number of times I had to ask different nurses and doctors for pain meds for my child whose pain level was increasing throughout the day as we waited for him to go into surgery and the changing time that I was told for his surgery.

I never received a callback the day after surgery, and felt it would have made me feel more cared about. I asked for one... I felt a little bit like a number, versus a unique human with extra anxiety.

Dr. Berger explained everything to so well and in a manner that I could completely understand. She is awesome!

I arrived at 10:15 for a 10:30 appointment as requested. I was called to the back just after 11:00 with no explanation for the delay. The CNA and receptionist discussed internal politics in front of my wife and I before finally taking us to the exam room.
