I became a nurse practitioner because I wanted to be there for people when they are at their sickest. The patients I typically see have often just survived the unthinkable, and their loved ones are living through some of the toughest days of their lives. I approach patients and families with deep compassion and do my best to meet them where they are, both culturally and in how much they understand what is happening in their care. Being a steady, caring presence in those moments is the heart of my work. Outside of clinical practice, you'll usually find me running. I've completed a few marathons and love to stay physically active. I am a proud dog dad, and I feel so lucky to enjoy the Twin Cities through every season.
