About The Provider
I grew up in Northern Ontario before obtaining my MD from University of Toronto, completed a pediatric residency at University of Ottawa, and pediatric respiratory medicine fellowship at McGill University in Montreal, where I was well-schooled in respiratory physiology. I went on to become an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics & Child Health at University of Manitoba, and then Associate Professor at Dalhousie University. After practicing in Canada for 15 years, I moved to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN where I practiced another 12 years, reaching the Full Professor level in Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine. I moved to King’s College Hospital in April 2017, but returned to the USA in July 2018, where I am Professor of Pediatrics at the University of MN. My research interests lie in respiratory physiology, particularly physiology of exercise. I am an Associate Editor of the journal Pediatric Exercise Science.
